Cja 323 - Team D has taken the lead in the BJC Health Care system to create a new Electronic Medical Records System or EMR. The old system loses too much data so the stakeholders in this organization made a determination this facility and two more facilities will support a new EMR system. This system will help support, and maintain patient privacy, communications, and security can transfer successfully medical data.
Cja 314 - One main problem with a new EMR system will be the issue of new implementations and find funding as well as stay within the organizations budget.
The project manager will develop a management plan to help with the development of a support system to meet the size of each individual hospital and accommodate the expansion. According to Dell (2010), the system can provide efficient test retrieval, faster retrieval of medical data, and the system will have to transfer test results, “clinical information, and prescriptions to health insurers, physicians’, hospitals, laboratories, and to any other facility, which may need this information” (Dell, 2010, para. 6).
Cmgt410 - Team D will show the Mission and Goals of the project, and show how the team will approach the project. The plan organization for the project by updating or replacing the current systems so the new EMR will work with them. The team will consist of four major people such as project manager, Head of Development Team, Lead Tech, and the Development Team Member these will have the control of computers and servers are up-to-date and can handle the new system.
Cmgt 410 - The team will also cover the Work Breakdown Structure in a hierarchal structure that will show the relation of task and subtask. A task flow network and critical path will show how each task will relate. The team will also have a project schedule to show each task and who will responsible for these.
